Welcome Fall at The Almost Fall Fest

Celebrate the beginning of Fall at The Almost Fall Fest on Sunday, September 18 from 1pm until 6pm in front of Quantum Leap Winery. Presented by OUC, this free, community event features local vendors & artists, food vendors, including Anna’s Empanadas, PhatAsh Bakes and Let’s Dough It and live entertainment by Justin Moyar, Brews Clues and Beth McKee and her Funky Time Band. The Guesthouse will be serving cocktails! Grab a Ten 10 beer or two at the Mills 50 tent. Quantum Leap will be open, serving wine & cider. This is a family friendly, dog friendly event! Track Shack celebrates 45 years in business!

Congratulations to Jon & Betsy Hughes, owners of Track Shack on celebrating 45 years of service to our community!

Track Shack opened in 1977 at 1313 N. Mills and moved to its current location at 1104 N. Mills in July, 1996.

In 1994, the Track Shack Youth Foundation was established with the purpose of promoting health and fitness with an emphasis on youth programs. Since then, the Foundation has contributed over $2 million into the greater Central Florida community.

Celebrate the Year of the Tiger!

The 10th Annual Dragon Parade will be held on Sunday, February 13 starting at 11am. The parade will travel on North Thornton Avenue between Lake Highland Drive and Colonial Drive and will feature over 50 units, including Wah Lum Temple, A Magi Belly Dancing, Inez Patricia School of Dance, Karate of Orlando, The Chinese School of CAACF, Dueling Dragons and many more. Enjoy Kung Fu demonstrations, the Lion Dance and the Dragon Dance. Dignitaries include Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, State Representative Anna V. Eskamani, City Commissioners Patty Sheehan and Robert Stuart, Orlando Police Chief Orlando Rolon, County Commissioner Emily Bonilla and Orange County Sheriff John Mina. The parade is produced by Asia Trend, Mills 50, REACH and Y.E.S.S. and celebrates the Lunar New Year and the importance of the Asian community to Central Florida.
